Considered investing in an electric gate? Here are reasons you should
You’ll get better security
Whilst there’s no denying that any form of gate adds an element of security to your property – whether it’s commercial or domestic – there is one gate that beats all the others; the electric gate.
It makes it more difficult for unwanted visitors to access your property. The best part is they don’t take that much longer to install but the difference is security is massive.
And if you use an intercom system too – either audio or visual – you’ll be able to make sure you only ever open the gates for the people you want.
Increase your property value
Over the years we’ve installed electric gates in Bedford and St Albans and, although it wasn’t their intention when getting the gates installed, many customers have found their property value increased.
Why? Because their homes were more secure and looked more appealing – something a lot of people look for when buying a home. Plus there’s something very elegant and impressive about having an electric gate.
They’re better quality
That’s not to say you can’t find a high-quality alternative – it’s just that an electric gate will more likely be better. There’s a lot more workmanship and crafting that typically goes into an electric gate and that’s something that shows.
They’re also designed to last a long time so you’re going to get great value for money too.
Your insurance may go down
There’s no guarantee with this but you may find your insurance goes down because the property is deemed to be more secure by your insurance providers. This can save you a lot of money over the years, all for the sake of a little more investment upfront when buying the gate.
Everyone will be kept safer
And by everyone we mean your entire family – including the pets. This is especially great if you live on a busy road and want to make sure your children and pets aren’t at risk of walking off into a dangerous situation.
There’s also the added advantage that we touched on before… it makes it harder for strangers to enter your property. So you can have complete peace of mind knowing that your loved ones are kept as safe as possible.
Electric gates are much more convenient
When you buy a standard gate, you’ll have to get out of your car to open the gate, to then get back in your car to drive the car onto your property, to get back out and shut the gate again. It’s a bit of a hassle, right?
With an electric gate, you won’t have to leave your car at all. And if you’re having guests over, you’ll be able to open it from the comfort of your home too.
